Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 3400 Block of 24th Street, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, November 18, 2019, in the 3400 block of 24th Street, Southeast.
At approximately 11:36 pm, the victim and the suspect were involved in a verbal dispute at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and threatened the victim. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
On Monday, November 18, 2019, 45 year-old Michael Tito Jackson, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
