Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 4500 Block of Fort Totten Drive, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Friday, July 21, 2019, in the 4500 block of Fort Totten Drive, Northeast.

At approximately 11:05 pm, the suspect and victim were involved in a verbal dispute at the listed location. During the dispute, the suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim then fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

On Tuesday, March 10, 2020, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 32 year-old Rilder Terrero, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
