Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department\’s Seventh District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault With Intent to Kill while Armed (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, February 9, 2019, in the 2300 block of Green Street, Southeast.
At approximately 10:20 pm, members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for the sound of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim, inside of a residential building, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
On Wednesday, January 15, 2020, pursuant to a DC Superior Court custody order, an 18 year-old male, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault With Intent to Kill while Armed (Gun).

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a shooting committed in the District of Columbia.
