Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department\’s Criminal Investigations Division announce an arrest has been made in reference to Burglary Two and Theft Two offenses that occurred in the Second and Third Districts.
Theft Two: On Saturday, January 4, 2020, at approximately 4:51 pm, the suspect took property from an establishment in the 1100 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest. CCN: 20-002-344
Theft Two: On Thursday, March 31, 2020, at approximately 2:25 pm, the suspect took property from an establishment in the 1100 block of 10th Street, Northwest. CCN: 20-053-195
Theft Two: On Monday, April 6, 2020, at approximately 3:30 pm, the suspect took property from an establishment in the 1100 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest. CCN: 20-055-849
Burglary Two: On Friday, April 10, 2020, at approximately 7:23 am, the suspect forcibly entered a residential building in the 1200 block of 13th Street, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 20-057-250
Theft Two: On Saturday, April 11, 2020, at approximately 4:29 am, the suspect took property from a residential building in the 1400 block of Rhode Island Avenue, Northwest. CCN: 20-058-812
Burglary Two: On Saturday, April 11, 2020, at approximately 7:45 pm, the suspect gained entry to a residential building in the 1100 block of 13th Street, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 20-060-934
Theft Two: On Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at approximately 2:50 pm, the suspect approached a residence in the 600 block of Q Street, Northwest. The suspect then took property from outside the residence then fled the scene. CCN: 20-059-761
Destruction of Property: On Thursday, April 16, 2020, at approximately 4:00 pm, the suspect approached a residential building in the 1400 block of Rhode Island Avenue, Northwest. The suspect damaged property then fled the scene. CCN: 20-060-562
Burglary Two: On Friday, April 17, 2020, at approximately 5:30 pm, the suspect forcibly gained entry to a residential building in the 1200 block of Vermont Avenue, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 20-064-707
Theft Two: On Friday, April 17, 2020, at approximately 5:30 pm, the suspect took property from a residential building in the 1100 block of 13th Street, Northwest. CCN: 20-060-321
Theft Two: On Friday, April 17, 2020, at approximately 8:56 pm, the suspect took property from a residential building in the 1400 block of N Street, Northwest. CCN: 20-060-305
Unlawful Entry: On Saturday, April 18, 2020, at approximately 2:45 am, the suspect entered a residential building in the 1200 block of 13th Street, Northwest. No property was obtained. CCN: 20-061-144
Burglary Two: On Saturday, April 18, 2020, at approximately 5:00 pm, the suspect gained entry to a residential building in the 1100 block of 13th Street, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 20-060-935
Burglary Two: On Sunday, April 19, 2020, at approximately 7:00 am, the suspect gained entry to a residence in the 1100 block of 13th Street, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 20-060-938
Burglary Two: On Monday, April 20, 2020, at approximately 10:26 pm, the suspect gained entry to a residential building in the 1200 block of 13th Street, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 20-061-460
Burglary Two: On Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at approximately 12:31 am, the suspect forcibly entered a residential building in the 1300 block of 12th Street, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 20-061-919
Theft Two: On Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at approximately 8:30 pm, the suspect took property from a residential building in the 1300 block of Corcoran Street, Northwest. CCN: 20-062-705
Theft Two: On Saturday, April 25, 2020, at approximately 2:17 am, the suspect took property from a residential building in the 1500 block of 11th Street, Northwest. CCN: 20-063-465
Burglary Two: On Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at approximately 5:40 am, the suspect forcibly gained entry to a residential building in the 1200 block of Vermont Avenue, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 20-064-834
On Tuesday, April 28, 2020, 43 year-old Tamer Castle, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with eight counts of Burglary Two, nine counts of Theft Two, Destruction of Property, and Unlawful Entry.
