Arrests Made in Multiple Robbery Offenses in the Third and Fourth Districts

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division announces two arrests has been made in reference to multiple Robbery offenses that occurred in the Third and Fourth District.

Third District:

Robbery (Snatch): On Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at approximately 4:20 pm, the suspects approached the victim in the 3300 block of Kenyon Street, Northwest. The suspects snatched the victim’s property then fled the scene. CCN: 20-022-738

Robbery (Fear): On Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at approximately 5:03 pm, the suspects approached the victim in the 3100 block of 16th Street, Northwest. The suspects took the victim’s property then fled the scene. CCN: 20-021-999

On Friday, February 8, 2020, a 16 year-old juvenile male, and 19 year-old Isaiah Kpodi, both of Northwest, DC, were arrested and charged for the above offenses. Additionally, Kpodi was charged with the below offense:

Fourth District:

Robbery (Snatch): On Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at approximately 3:30 pm, the suspect approached the victim in the 4100 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest. The suspect snatched the victim’s property then fled the scene. CCN: 20-021-985
