Arrests Made in Robbery Offenses

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division announced arrests in recent robbery cases in Washington, DC.

 

Second District:

  • On Friday, September 18, 2020, 29 year-old Raghee Jordan, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Friday, September 18, 2020, in the 1800 block of 18th Street, Northwest. CCN: 20-133-375
    • At approximately 3:58 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and took property from the victim then fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.

 

Third District:

  • On Friday, September 18, 2020, 31 year-old Jamal Calloway, of no fixed address, was arrested for a Robbery (Snatch) offense that occurred on Thursday, September 17, 2020, in the 1300 block of U Street, Northwest. CCN: 20-133-167
    • At approximately 3:02 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect snatched property from the victim then fled the scene.
