Coronavirus Data for June 9, 2020

Washington, DC – The District’s reported data for Tuesday, June 9, 2020 includes 63 new positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing the District’s overall positive case total to 9,537.

The District reported four additional COVID-19 related deaths.

61-year-old female
68-year-old male
72-year-old female
82-year-old male
Tragically, 499 District residents have lost their lives due to COVID-19.

The District has launched an interactive dashboard to track DC Health’s metrics for reopening DC, including community spread, positivity rate, transmission rate, and hospitalization rate. The dashboard can be viewed at coronavirus.dc.gov/data.

The District has experienced nine days of sustained decrease in community spread of COVID-19 During Phase One. That data is represented in the chart.
