Mayor Bowser Directs $35 Million for COVID-19 Medical Surge

(Washington, DC) – Mayor Muriel Bowser directed an additional $35 million of the District’s Contingency Cash Reserve Fund to provide support to area hospitals for the need for increased medical services due to coronavirus (COVID-19). To date, Mayor Bowser has directed $129.4 million to the District’s COVID-19 response and recovery efforts.
