(Washington, DC) – On Friday, November 1, at 11:30 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser and District officials will outline preparedness plans to maintain a safe and enjoyable experience at this weekend’s parade celebrating the Washington Nationals’ World Series victory. The 2019 National Championship Parade is scheduled for Saturday, November 2, at 2 pm, and will begin on Constitution Avenue, NW at 15th Street, NW, proceed east along Constitution Avenue, NW, and end on Pennsylvania Avenue, NW at 3rd Street, NW with a team rally.
The #SportsCapital is using sportscapital.dc.gov to communicate road closures, parking restrictions, and public transportation options, as they become available. Fans planning to attend the Parade are encouraged to sign up for free alerts from the District on transit, traffic, weather, safety and more by texting “NATS” to 888-777.
