Mayor Bowser to Promote the District’s Digital Inclusion Investments at DC Community Tech Day

(Washington, DC) – On Wednesday, October 9, at 11:45 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will deliver remarks at Byte Back’s DC Community Tech Day and highlight her Administration’s investments to bridge the digital divide through training, career assistance, and the expansion of low-cost internet service for DC residents. Mayor Bowser’s Fiscal Year 2020 Fair Shot budget includes more than $12 million to support local entrepreneurs in starting and growing businesses.
The free event will feature speakers from the tech community, networking, and hands-on workshops to refine tech skills and prepare for a living-wage career.
