There’s Quality in Ward 5

Langdon Recreation is one of the many recreation centers in Ward 5 that has been revitalized. A dedication to the Late Chuck Brown (The Godfather of Go-Go music) has been created along with a renovated Pavilion. There are horse shoe pits, a multipurpose field, tennis court, basketball court, dog park and a skateboard park located on the outside. On the inside there’s a full basketball court, multipurpose room, computer lab and boxing gym. Most programs offered during the summer are tennis, cheerleading camp, rec camp and a summer swim league. Boxing is the only activity available year round. With its many amenities, Langdon Recreation Center has something to do for everyone.
