Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, August 3, 2019, in the 2200 block of 25th Place, Northeast.
At approximately 6:00 pm, the suspects discharged firearms, at the victim, at the listed location. The suspects and victim both fled the scene.
On Saturday, August 10, 2019, a 24-year-old adult male, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun), Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm, and Destruction of Property.
This case remains under investigation.
