IT WENT DOWN AT DC STADIUM ARMORY THE PROBLEM VS. THE TREASURE

There was definitely a buzz surrounding the Adrien Broner vs. Ashley Theophane boxing match which generated a large crowd Friday, April 1, 2016 at the DC Stadium Armory.  The day and moment had finally arrived to see who would last four, six, eight or twelve rounds.  During the last press conference, Ashley Theophane stated \”I\’ve trained for twelve rounds\” and that he is \”going to war\”. Furthermore, it\’s been a journey and his team has helped him get here.

Just in case you were wondering, NO! Adrien didn\’t throw any money in the ring. Instead, he threw blows to the body of Ashley Theophane claiming the victory by a judge\’s decision. One of his punches caused him to slip, however he quickly regained his momentum.  At the start of round 1 both boxers were warming up so not many punches landed to the bodies of either Adrien or Ashley.  The Treasure was able to sprinkle a few jabs that landed to the face of The Problem, Adrien Broner.

Although the fight only lasted eight rounds, it was a good fight. Not sure it was good enough to call Floyd Mayweather out of retirement though Broner insisted that \”anyone can get it!\”  Maybe they could have the fight at the DC Stadium Armory since Adrien will have to get his weight up!
