Arrest Made in a Transport For Sex by Coercion and Enticement Offense: 1300 Block of 12th Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Youth and Family Services Division and Special Agents from Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Washington Field Office, Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force have announced an arrest has been made in reference to a Transport For Sex offense that occurred between Wednesday, August 7, 2019 and Tuesday, November 5, 2019, in the 1300 block of 12th Street, Northwest.
From approximately 7:00 am on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 to 6:00 am on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, the suspect enticed the adult victim to travel to the District of Columbia to engage in commercial sex acts.
On Tuesday, November 5, 2019, pursuant to a US District Court arrest warrant, 36-year-old Michael Jabaar Wilkins, of Norfolk, VA, was arrested and charged with Transport For Sex by Coercion and Enticement.
