Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District announces an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, December 14, 2019, in the 800 block of O Street, Northwest.
At approximately 4:30 pm, the suspect and victim were involved in a verbal altercation at the listed location. The suspect brandished a firearm and discharged the weapon at the victim. The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle. No injuries were reported.
On Saturday, December 14, 2019, 46 year-old Yusef Barrie, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
