Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, in the 2400 block of Good Hope Road, Southeast.
At approximately 4:57 pm, the suspect and the victim were involved in a verbal altercation inside of a residence at the listed location. During the altercation, the suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim then fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Wednesday, December 4, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 21 year-old JuJuan Thomas, of Great Mills, MD, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
