Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch announce an arrest has been made regarding an Assault With Intent to Kill (Knife) offense that occurred on Friday, April 10, 2020, in the 400 block of M Street, Southeast.
At approximately 1:14 am, members of the First District responded to the listed location. Upon arrival, officers located an adult female, inside of a residential building, suffering from multiple stab wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries.
On Friday, April 10, 2020, 43 year-old Tavesa Nitinia Rose-Moore, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault With Intent to Kill while Armed (Knife).
