Arrest Made in an Assault With Intent to Kill while Armed (Knife) Offense: 1400 Block of Euclid Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch announce an arrest has been made regarding an Assault With Intent to Kill while Armed (Knife) offense that occurred on Saturday, February 29, 2020, in the 1400 block of Euclid Street, Northwest.

At approximately 12:46 am, members of the Third District responded to the listed location for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male, inside of a residence, suffering from multiple stab wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries.

On Saturday, February 29, 2020, 31 year-old Donald Anthony Cook, of Northwest, DC was arrested and charged with Assault With Intent to Kill while Armed (Gun).
