Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch announced two arrests have been made in reference to an Assault With Intent to Kill while Armed (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, in the 2200 block of Queens Chapel Road, Northeast.
At approximately 2:13 am, members of the Fifth District responded to the listed location after hearing the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, members located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries.
On Friday, February 21, 2020, pursuant to DC Superior Court arrest warrants, 22 year-old Kameron Collins, of no fixed address, and 26 year-old Ryan Phillip, of Upper Marlboro, MD., were arrested by members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force. They were both charged with Assault with Intent to Kill while Armed.
