Extremely Crowded Summer for DC!

The Washington Business Journal states that The District’s housing market continues to heat up. Tho deemed impossible, more people are preparing to move into the city than at any point in the last year.  It comes as nearby counties like Loudoun and Prince William seem to be cooling off, at least according to local data provided by Attom Data Solutions.

This is just the latest data point showing the summer housing market in the District is going to be highly competitive and extremely crowded. Housing prices typically rise in the summer, when more people are shopping for a home. When we crunched the numbers last year we found that selling a house in June could net $25,000 more than selling it at other times of the year.
