When your Ward\’s radius is the largest area in the District, there\’s no problem when it comes to logistics for event planning in Ward 5. This past weekend many District residents and beyond had the opportunity to walk down H Street DC and just enjoy the scene. It wasn’t the typical day on H Street with streetcars, metro buses, and constantly looking out for parking enforcement. It was certainly a much more delightful and pleasant experience. In fact, the food was really delicious, and the music performances were amazing. H Street Festival attendees had fun and even danced near the 12th Street Stage during “The Proper Puppet’s” performance.
The fun, culture, food, and experience didn’t stop at the 12th Street stage, the entire block of H Street was lit! So much to do, eat, and experience at the H Street Festival.
Not that far from the H Street corridor constituents could find Councilmember Kenyan McDuffie at the Ward 5 Day where the fun, family, and music continued. Ward 5 sure knows how to party and have a great time.
