“As we continue to build on our progress at DCPS, these public engagement events are an opportunity for the Our Schools DC Leadership Committee to hear directly from the community,” said Mayor Bowser. “Providing various ways to participate allows students, parents, and community members to have a useful dialogue with the Our Schools DC Leadership Committee and will facilitate the selection of our next chancellor.”
In August and September, the committee will host three public community engagement forums. These forums will be an opportunity to provide an overview of DCPS progress, emphasize areas of focus for the next chancellor, and hear from residents about their priorities for DCPS.
