On Monday, Mayor Bowser will speak at the AIPAC Policy Conference, highlighting the strong partnership between Washington, DC and Israel, including recently added nonstop service from Dulles to Tel Aviv.
On Wednesday, Mayor Bowser will participate in a press conference to kick off the National Cherry Blossom Festival to announce a peak bloom prediction and events to welcome visitors to the Nation’s Capital.
On Thursday, Mayor Bowser and DCPS Chancellor Lewis Ferebee will visit Van Ness Elementary School to highlight the first round of technology devices delivered to schools through the Empowered Learners Initiative, a multi-million dollar investment to achieve a 1:1 student to technology device ratio by 2022. That evening, Mayor Bowser will moderate a discussion hosted by UDC’s Institute of Politics Policy and History.
On Friday, Mayor Bowser will break ground on the Todd A. Lee Senior Residences at Kennedy Street, delivering 38 affordable homes and retail in the Brightwood Park neighborhood of Ward 4.
On Saturday, Mayor Bowser will host the second annual #FITDC HerStory5K in partnership with the National Women\’s History Museum to celebrate Women’s History Month.
