On Monday, Mayor Bowser will attend the general meeting of the AARP’s Penn Branch Chapter 3473 and provide updates on the District’s investments to enable seniors to live independently in their homes and communities.
On Wednesday, Mayor Bowser will meet with 3rd grade students at Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School working on a unit about local government and teach the class about how DC government works and the roles of the Mayor and the DC Council.
On Thursday, Mayor Bowser will cut the ribbon on the Fort Stevens Place Apartments, a substantial rehabilitation of 59 units of affordable housing for over 200 residents in the Brightwood neighborhood of Ward 4.
On Saturday, Mayor Bowser will join residents in the 24th Annual DMV Links Family Health Walk to promote health and wellness for black women and families.
