Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Friday, November 8, 2019, in the 1200 block of North Capitol Street, Northwest.
At approximately 11:02 pm, the suspect approached two victims at the listed location and engaged in a verbal altercation. The suspect brandished a machete and made stabbing motions at the victims. The suspect then fled the scene.
