The People of Philanthropy (P.O.P.) celebrated its first Annual Red Carpet Coat Drive. The event was held at the Ultra Bar in NW, Washington DC and was hosted by Guy Lambert (WPGC/95.5) and Ashley Darby (Real Housewives of the Potomac) with a special performance by the DMV\’s very own Black Alley.

\"POP2\" \”P.O.P. is an organization comprised of entrepreneurs who want to collectively give back to the community. Matthew Brandon, the owner of Prodigy Artistry and celebrity makeup artist, and Alee Opuiyo, owner of Dynamic Public Relations, founded P.O.P. in 2015.

“We have been successful and incredibly blessed in our respective fields and want to pay it forward by performing charitable acts throughout the Washington, DC, metropolitan area and beyond,” Brandon said.\”

The event was a complete success as they collected over 900 coats, new and used to distribute to several nonprofit organizations throughout the DMV.
