Suspect Sought in Robbery Offenses in the First District

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department\’s First District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to Robbery offenses that occurred on Friday, March 6, 2020, at the following locations:

Robbery (Force and Violence): At approximately 10:45 pm, in the 800 block of D Street, Northeast, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect assaulted the victim and took their property then fled the scene. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries. CCN: 20-040-629

Assault With Intent to Commit Robbery: At approximately 11:06 pm, in the 500 block of 7th Street, Southeast, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect assaulted the victim and attempted to take their property then fled the scene. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries. CCN: 20-040-631

These offenses are being investigated as potentially being related.
